Michelle Smith
Michelle Smith is a Montgomery, Alabama native who has proudly called the Auburn area home for more than two decades. She graduated from Alabama Christian Academy in 1999 and earned her degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Auburn University in 2005.
While at Auburn, Michelle served as both Public Relations Committee Head and President of Tau Beta Sigma, a national honorary service sorority dedicated to supporting collegiate bands. She was also a proud four-year member of the Auburn University Marching Band Flag Corps—an experience that strengthened her lifelong love for Auburn University, its traditions, and the community surrounding it.
Michelle began her real estate career in March 2008 as a leasing agent and was promoted to Leasing Manager shortly thereafter. In January 2014, she earned her Alabama real estate license and assumed responsibility for overseeing the company’s property management operations. She later expanded her career into real estate sales and was twice nominated for the Lee County Association of REALTORS® Rookie of the Year Award. In 2019, Michelle earned her Alabama broker license and became an Associate Broker.
Throughout her career, Michelle has managed a diverse portfolio that includes long-term rentals, short-term rentals, condominium and homeowner associations, and residential real estate sales. Her experience has given her an invaluable understanding of the many relationships behind a property—not only with owners, residents, buyers, and sellers, but also with vendors, association boards, and the surrounding community.
Michelle has also served the Lee County Association of REALTORS® as Community Service Committee Chair, Awards Committee Chair, and a member of its Board of Directors. These leadership roles reflect her belief that real estate is ultimately a people-centered profession built upon trust, service, communication, and genuine care.
As a principal of EverOak Real Estate Group, Michelle brings nearly two decades of practical experience, steady leadership, and an unwavering commitment to serving others well. She is known for connecting with people in a way that is both personal and professional, approaching challenges with compassion, and working tirelessly to help clients feel informed, valued, and at home.
A lifelong Auburn fan, Michelle enjoys cheering on the Tigers—especially inside Jordan-Hare Stadium—and creating meaningful gatherings for the people she loves. She strives to live and work according to the values expressed in the Auburn Creed, particularly its belief in hard work, mutual helpfulness, and the human touch. Those principles, grounded in her faith and sense of purpose, continue to shape the way she leads, serves, and builds lasting relationships throughout the Auburn community.
